Application for LAB's English degree programs begins

The first application period of spring begins on January 8, 2025. Applicants can apply for LAB University of Applied Sciences' English-taught bachelor's and master's degree programs.

In the first application period of spring, LAB University of Applied Sciences offers a total of 328 study places for the campuses in Lahti and Lappeenranta, as well as for online studies. There are 14 English degree programs available in business administration, technology, health and social care, design and the hospitality, restaurant and tourism sectors.

The nine bachelor’s degree programs in the application correspond to the Finnish lower university degree. Additionally, there are five master’s degree programs available, which correspond to the Finnish higher university degree.

This year, the application includes two new multidisciplinary master’s degree programs, implemented in cooperation with various fields. The Circular economy solutions program is a collaboration between the fields of business administration, technology, LAB’s Institute of Design and Fine Arts, and LUT University. The Technological transformation leadership program combines the expertise of LAB’s technology and health and social care fields. Other new master’s degree programs include Design for the planet, Emergency care systems development and leadership, and Business innovation culture and creativity.

“Multidisciplinary master’s programs address the challenges faced by the workforce and rapidly changing competency requirements. The online programs also provide the opportunity for flexible combination of work and studies”, says Mari-Anna Suurmunne, vice rector for education at LAB University of Applied Sciences.

The first application period of spring begins on January 8 and ends on January 22 at 3:00 PM.
