LAB carbon footprint and sustainable campuses
The goal of the LAB University of Applied Sciences is to be carbon neutral by 2025 and carbon negative by 2030.

Programme for the sustainable development and responsibility of universities of applied sciences
We are committed to Arene ry’s Programme for the sustainable development and responsibility of universities of applied sciences. With our measures, we will reduce our harmful carbon footprint and increase our positive carbon handprint as a united front of universities of applied sciences.
LAB University of Applied Sciences maintains and promotes sustainability and responsibility in:

- The contents of education
- Personnel expertise
- Responsible management and the development of well-being at work
- Cooperation with property owners to reduce our carbon footprint

- As one of our selection principles in procurement
- LAB is also involved in UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative, and in the Societal commitment 2050 for the education of registered nurses, public health nurses and paramedics.
