Promoting sustainable economic growth is at the core of our strategy. LAB is aiming to make working life better by piloting new ways of working together with companies and students.

By combining our areas of expertise, we contribute to the efficiency of industry resources and create ecological technological solutions and production processes.
We pilot solutions which mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and needs for new raw materials, thereby promoting sustainability in industry.

Designing comfortable, safe and sustainable urban and residential environments is our competence.
By designing ecologically, economically, socially and culturally sustainable products, services and environments, we respond to companies’, communities’ and citizens’ needs.
SDG 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
Our goal is to promote sustainability in consumption and production by creating paths to sustainable product development, resource-smart material use, decreasing waste, as well as recyclability and reusability.
SDG 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts
We cherish the well-being of people and the environment. We act against climate change by increasing the capabilities of our community members to tackle it, innovating new technological solutions, promoting circular economy business and developing a carbon neutral society.
