The contents and forms of business processes and practices are developing at a fast pace. More innovative ideas and versatile
development practices are needed for increasing competitiveness and know-how in SMEs. One of the most important factors in the future development is the collaboration between businesses and universities.
The aim of the project is to improve universities' and development organizations' capacity to respond to the development needs of local SMEs and family owned businesses. The goal is to form and implement renewed and systematized practices of collaboration. Enhancing relevancy of research, development and innovation activities is the key in this process. The aim is also to reinforce communication and different roles of municipalities, business development organizations and universities, hence supporting the local businesses in their development and internationalization.
