AI Yoga – leveraging artificial intelligence to innovate agility and strength for business
The project provides companies with the ability to develop and enhance their business operations by utilizing AI-assisted innovations and practices in a long-term and strategic manner. The successful implementation of such changes requires new kinds of leadership skills. The top management of companies participating in the project will gain strategic-level insights into leveraging artificial intelligence to improve business efficiency. Mid-level personnel will benefit from these insights, be able to promote the adoption of AI within their organization and present the needs and solution approaches of their respective areas to management.
The level of AI utilization expertise achieved by companies participating in the project's coaching sessions enables the adoption of various methods and systems by small and medium-sized enterprises whose previous capabilities did not allow for such implementations. The project arranges 4 series with 6 workdays in each series. Each company participates in all workdays of one series.Companies attending the project's public events will also gain knowledge about opportunities and methodologies from experts, as well as peer experiences from businesses that have already integrated AI into their operations.
The primary target group of the project is small and medium businesses in the Päijät-Häme region. The project coaches these companies to integrate AI into their business operations productively. The new practical skills acquired in the use of generative AI for ideation and innovation by participants at all company levels may serve as a gateway to broader AI and automation adoption. Similarly, the growth of AI-assisted content production expertise can serve as a gateway, even though it is not an explicit goal of the project. The project provides companies with tools and capabilities for AI-assisted production of ideas, process optimizations, and automation.
Data is at the core of both data-driven leadership and the adoption of many AI solutions. The project promotes data-driven leadership by enabling the adoption of data tools needed by management. The project provides AI literacy as required by the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Article 4) to help understand the current public perception of AI and the risks of its use in the context of one’s own operations. Coaching on data restructuring is offered for companies so that, after the necessary reforms, AI-driven solutions can be implemented. At the same time, the project shares best practices about data-driven leadership, which is enabled by data restructuring and the transformation of data into actionable insights.
The main objective is to facilitate the systematic selection and adoption of AI and other AI-enabled efficiency solutions, including their partial implementation in small and medium-sized businesses, and to encourage the use of such competitiveness-enhancing solutions in alignment with company strategy.
Before the start of each series of AI Yoga workdays, the project creates customer profiles of participating companies through interviews. These customer profiles refine the content needs of the coaching. Companies participating in a full set of the project's workdays will develop their own company-specific plans for deploying new methods and/or systems using AI.
At the end of the project, experiences and tools on forming the AI vision, strategy and deployment plans with the participating companies will be compiled into a digital "strAtegIa" guide.
