MOMENTUM - diversifying career paths

This project aims to support functional capacity, participation and equality among hard-to-employment and partial work capacity persons. Focus group of the project consists of persons aged over 29-years, unemployed persons and those without a place of study. This project focuses on providing strong support and finding alternative ways to move into education and/or employment.

The goal is to help the target group to recognize their own strengths as learners and to see university of applied sciences studies as an alternative. LAB's role is to make easier for the target group to apply for higher education by organizing opportunities to get to know the campuses. LAB provide to target group opportunity make familiar with study and Moodle-enviroment.

In addition, the project increases cooperation between services and strengthens the expertise of professionals.

The project takes place in Päijät-Häme and Kymenlaakso areas. In Päijät-häme the project focuses especially on partial work capacitated persons and in the Kymenlaakso area the focus is on immigrants.
