LUONTOLAS - A nature perspective in the renewal of SMEs
The project supports the sustainable growth of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) by promoting the identification and measurement of biodiversity impacts and the development of nature-positive business.
During the project, nature footprint calculation will be piloted together with 1-2 SMEs from Päijät-Häme. The local Ilmastokumppanuus-model will be updated to cover more broadly the biodiversity impact review of business. In addition, the target groups' awareness of the project's themes is increased through various events and active communication.
The project is implemented by LAB University of Applied Sciences and LUT University and has been financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
