Hybridityöllä muutoskyvykkyyttä
Covid-19 pandemic and the exceptional time has revolutionized the nature of work in almost every workplace and it has challenged especially organizations which employ experts. A hybrid work can mean among other things independent work at home, virtual meetings, face to face sparring and team work in the office. The variety of different working methods requires readjustment and readiness for change not only concerning the workers but also concerning the managers and directors. In managing the hybrid work the ability to proactively envision the future and crisis preparedness are needed to anticipate and manage change situations. In practice this means interaction skills, openness, organizational skills and enthusiasm.
The goal of the project is to build a visual hybrid work model that promotes the ability to change. This is achieved through the following sub-goals:
1. Managing oneself in promoting wellbeing at work
2. Hybrid management and management of crisis situations and the preparedness for them
3. Strengthening the organization’s capacity for change and innovation through joint development
The project is carried out in three working packages which support each other and in the activities within the working packages. Three levels are taken into consideration in the development activities: individual – management – society.
As a result of the project, a visualized model of hybrid work is created, which describes good practices and new operating methods for hybrid work and the development of hybrid work management. The model is described in a report that is distributed to other expert organizations for their use. Other stakeholders including the working life
development networks and other working life and growth service providers are also informed about the model.
