The project will design, develop and pilot a comprehensive study path and materials for Swedish language learning at levels A1-A2 in cooperation between higher education institutions, as a large proportion of students have a skills gap in Swedish compared to the level of Swedish required in higher education (B1).



The project will create a new, holistic approach (study path, materials, guidance practices) to facilitate students' Swedish language learning. What is new is that the material will be targeted at university students from the very beginning and that the competence objectives will be defined towards the level of Swedish language competence needed for studies and working life.



The project will also pilot different ways of delivering guidance and share good practice. The collaborative study pathway will enable joint teaching provision between different higher education institutions.
