DIH 2.0 Päijät-Häme

LAB University of Applied Sciences together with LUT University is building a local digital innovation hub in Päijät-Häme. Innovation hub brings together the digital technology experiment ecosystems as well as applied research and education for the SMEs benefit. The hub would rely strongly on existing student and company networks offering a co-creation ecosystem based on real interactions.



The project maps the needs of the local entrepreneurial environment leaning on existing experience and skills to build a low threshold entity, which helps SMEs to scale their business through digitalization. At the end of the project, the entrepreneurs have a contact point to all services of LAB and LUT that improve digitalization. The DIH being constructed will create a working network of local service providers of digital solutions as well as other local and nations DIHs. This network enables the meeting of the demand and the supply for digital solutions within the local economy.
