Enrolment for individual courses closes mainly 1-2 weeks before the start date of the course. The last date for enrollment is told in the course information.

Enrolling for courses

Enroll for open UAS courses in our online shop. You can add several courses to your shopping cart at the same time.  

Note! The English version of our online shop shows translations of all our available courses in English, although the teaching language in most of our courses is Finnish. Please check the course description for the teaching language before enrolling. 

After choosing the courses and adding them to your shopping cart, you must identify yourself in the enrollment service using Suomi.fi e-Identification with either Finnish banking codes, a mobile certificate, hightrust.id application, or a certificate card. If you have none of the above, please contact avoinamklab [dot] fi (avoinamk[at]lab[dot]fi) 

By registering, you agree to our payment and cancellation conditions. You can pay the course fee immediately upon enrollment or by using the payment link within 3 days. 

If you do not pay the fee by the deadline, your enrollment will be cancelled and the place will become available for others to enroll.  

Enrollment is binding once the course fee has been paid. If you cancel your enrollment or interrupt your studies, the tuition fees paid will not be refunded. 

The Open University of Applied Sciences offers a limited right to study in terms of time and content. The right to study cannot be transferred to another course or period of study or to the next academic year. 

Follow the email address you provided in the registration form and remember to check your spam folder as well.

Enrolling for path studies

Find out more about the path studies on our website and enroll via the registration form on the path description page.  

Places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, taking into account any pre-requisites (e.g. language skills).

You can enroll for the bachelor-level path studies regardless of your undergraduate degree. You must be of legal age (18 years old) to enroll to path studies.

Path students in Master's programmes are required to have an appropriate university of applied sciences (UAS) Bachelor’s degree or another appropriate higher education degree defined in joint admission criteria. 

Those enrolling for English-language path studies will be invited to take a language test, which they must pass.  

When do you find out if you're accepted?

We will go through all the registrations as soon as possible during and right after the registration period and send information both to those who are accepted and those who aren't. There will be a lot of registrations to handle, so we're asking for your patience.

NB! We will send all information from our joint e-mail account LAB.AvoinInfo[@]lab.fi. If you don't receive any message from us, please check your junk mail folder.

Terms of cancellation

Cancellation policy of individual courses

Registration is binding. If the student cancels the enrollment or interrupts the studies, the course fees paid will not be refunded. 

Cancellation policy of path studies

Registration is binding. If you don't pay the tuition fee by the deadline designated in the acceptance letter, your place will be automatically cancelled. The tuition fee will not be refunded, if you cancel your study place after the payment.
