LAB Future Food Lounge
The event is divided into three sessions. The afternoon lounge programme features, among other things, a food-themed panel discussion, company success stories, and the opportunity to explore the unique Food Pilot Plant product development environment. In addition, participants can join a refreshing afterwork session.
You may attend one or more sessions. Each session is limited to 30 participants, so be sure to secure your place by registering in advance. All participants are also required to register for the LUT Blossom event. Registration links can be found at the bottom of the page.
Programme
12.00–13.30 Finnish food: how to create success stories?
The success story of the Kili beverage will be presented by Marketing Manager Anemone Aaltonen (Kaffa Roastery).
The panel discussion will feature Professor of Practice Jamie Hyneman (LUT), Commercial Director Emma Laivisto (Perfat Technologies), and Commercial Director Taija Felt (Fazer). The discussion will be facilitated by Business Developer Jari Rask (Ladec).
After the panel, you will have the opportunity to explore food sector innovation concepts, visit LAB’s Food Pilot Plant product development environment, and take part in tastings.
The event will be held in English.

Entrepreneurs Teppo Ylä-Hemmilä and Joonas Ylä-Hemmilä will share the growth story of Viipurilainen Kotileipomo.
