GC-MS Analysis for Solid and Liquid Samples

Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Shimadzu GCMS-QP2020 NX) is used for the analysis of volatile organic compounds. The system can analyse both solid and liquid samples. It includes both a liquid autosampler and a Headspace sampler (HS-20). Typical applications include the analysis of VOCs (using headspace technology), carbohydrates and PAH compounds.

laitteisto

XRF Analysis for Solid and Liquid Samples

The XRF analyser (Hitachi X-MET8000 Expert GEO, Soil & Mining) is used to determine the elemental composition of solid, powdered and liquid samples (Mg-U). Typical applications include the analysis of recycled materials, metal alloys and heavy metal concentrations in contaminated soils.

laitteisto

Determination of Total C, H, N, S and O Contents

The CHNS-O analyser (VELP Scientifica EMA 502 Elemental Analyzer) measures carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur and oxygen concentrations in solid and liquid samples. The method is suitable for monitoring biogas processes, determining harmful sulfur contents and analysing the composition of organic compounds.

laitteisto

UV/Vis Analysis for Solid and Liquid Samples

The UV/Vis spectrophotometer (VWR UV-6300 PC Double Beam Spectrophotometer) can be used to determine parameters such as total phosphorus and acid-soluble lignin in solid and liquid samples.

laitteito

Analysis of Liquid Samples Using Hach Photometric Cuvette Tests

The VIS spectrophotometer (Hach DR 3900 VIS Spectrophotometer) enables the determination of total phosphorus, orthophosphate, total nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate, total phenols and total organic acids in liquid samples using Hach cuvette tests. Additional tests can be performed when appropriate, depending on the suitability of the samples for spectrophotometric analysis.
