Vähähiiliset referenssit (Päijät-Häme)

The project aims to bring together different regional companies that either have carbon dioxide emissions or uses carbon dioxide as resource in Lahti. Therefore, the intention of project is to provide financial synergies to local economic life, based on the novel circular models of carbon. During the project, challenges regarding measuring, capturing and transporting carbon dioxide are investigated case-by-case, in order to find implementable and profitable solutions. Finally, the goal of the project is to enable the creation of five (5) regional reference frameworks, which utilize local carbon dioxide production and consumption. The references can be potentially conceptualized for internationally significant, generalized models. Project is carried out by collaboration with Lahti Regional Development LADEC Ltd and financed by the Regional Council of Päijät-Häme.
