Supporting high-school mathematics through working-life knowledge

TyöMAA -project aims at increasing the number of students choosing higher-level mathematics in high-school and

matriculation exam in the province of South-Carelia. In addition to affecting the choices and motivation of high-school

students, the project also aims at increasing the knowledge that high-school mathematics teachers and study

counsellors have about the mathematics needed in education and working life in different fields.
