The project will develop a digital job coaching pathway, which is designed to strengthen the job-seeking skills of people with disabilities and speed up their transition into the workforce. The future pathway enables independent practice even before the actual job coaching begins and strengthens readiness when using the actual service.

The pathway is being developed for clients of disability services under the age of 65 in Päijät-Häme region. The development process will be flexible and client-centered, taking individual needs into account. In the first phase, digital, multi-channel materials will be produced to support job coaching. In the second phase, the actual digital job coaching pathway will be built.

Client-centeredness will be ensured by establishing client panels that test the materials early in the process. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the job coaching and disability services of the Päijät-Häme welfare region.

The digital materials will primarily be in plain language and accessible to people with disabilities. The pathway will initially be built into the Päijät Sote app, with the goal of expanding it for nationwide use.
