Needs for Sustainable local growth and investment in internationalization, mentioned in recovery plan of regional
council of Päijät-Häme concern companies of all size. The needs exist strong also in startups and SME’s. By
increasing know-how of small-scale companies, it is possible to gain results that effect fast, such as new jobs, strong
objects for investment, and companies targeting for international markets.
Conventional means to increase know-how are not effective enough – especially from viewpoint of startups. Contents
that are largely predefined are not flexible enough to meet the fast-changing daily needs of startups. Currently we are not good in supporting learning, agility, resilience, and growth of startups. Recovery from Covid-19 fosters the needs described before.
The main objective of LAB Growth project is to foster entrepreneurs’ and company personnel’s’ (startups and SME’s)
agility and resilience with new types of know-how. It is employed by developing and experimenting content directly to
growth-related needs.
