Intangible value creation
Kilpailutus julkisissa hankinnoissa Etelä-Karjalan alueella, erityisesti Imatran seutukunnalla
During this project, companies operating in South Karelia, particularly in the Imatra region, will receive training on participating in public procurement processes, preparing bids, and using public procurement systems. The events and coaching sessions organized within the project will strengthen companies’ ability to identify changes and requirements introduced by the reform of the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts, as well as to understand the content and formal requirements of tender documents.
The goal of the project is to encourage and activate companies in South Karelia, especially in the Imatra region, to participate in public procurement. The project supports the national objectives of the reform of the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts and strengthens the region’s ability to utilize public procurement as a tool for regional development in South Karelia.
The project has three main objectives:
1. To increase the participation rate of companies in public procurement processes, also after the project has ended.
2. To ensure that South Karelian companies and public sector actors have adopted and understood the changes and requirements introduced by the reform of the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts.
3. To increase companies’ expertise and knowledge, resulting in more accurate and higher-quality bids submitted in public procurement processes.
