New ideas for businesses through co-development

The Innovation Factory operating model was developed and piloted in 2024-2025, student teams participated in the development challenges of wellbeing and healthcare companies. The teams developed ideas for companies towards new types of innovations. Some of the student teams were international. The teams developed solutions to the challenges of the companies under the guidance of the project staff. The guides were experts in the social and health sectors, business administration, technology and design.

The clients were wellbeing and healthcare companies in Päijät-Häme. The solutions to the development challenges were produced, for example, an artificial intelligence-based travel guide to facilitate navigation in a large organization, ideation of new application uses and an analysis of the possibilities of utilizing artificial intelligence in the company's marketing.

Thank you to everyone who participated and welcome to the next implementation!

"I was satisfied and surprised by how clearly (the student team) had handled the job and solved the issue while genuinely coming up with ideas." -Participating company
