FinFoodNet - Suomalaiset Innokaupungit ja alueet vauhdittamassa ruokaratkaisujen vientiä

Food exports have significant strategic importance for Finland.

The government program has set a goal to double food exports by 2031. Achieving this requires commitment from various stakeholders and companies to shared growth objectives, alignment of financial investments, and renewal of operational practices.

The joint food export-themed flagship project of the InnoCities responds in part to the challenges described above. The participating InnoCities are Seinäjoki, Jyväskylä, Lahti, Kuopio, Turku, and Vantaa/HEVI region. The project is implemented by Into Seinäjoki Oy (Into), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Jamk), LAB University of Applied Sciences (LAB), Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Savonia), University of Turku (UTU), and the City of Vantaa (Vantaa).

The target group consists of actors within the food export ecosystem (companies, RDI actors, and other public organizations within the project partners' areas of operation) who contribute their expertise to promoting Finnish food exports and who can enhance the export efforts of food industry companies.
