FIKSU YHTEISTYÖ

The FIKSU project promotes innovation capability in the Lahti region and gathers insights for a future RDI collaboration model tailored to the area.

The collaboration with Sitra helps to gain knowledge and understanding of companies’ capabilities to engage in RDI activities. Through rapid experiments lasting a few months, the project aims to test cooperation between research organizations and companies, and to deepen understanding from the companies’ perspective. By working directly with companies and collecting feedback from participants in the experiments, we can learn how to build a low-threshold approach for companies to engage with research organizations and benefit from it in developing their business.

The project explores a collaborative operating model as part of a comprehensive framework. The goal of the activities is to gather information specifically about companies’ needs for a future operating model. The experiments and feedback collection are carried out by LAB University of Applied Sciences. All RDI units of LAB are involved in the project. The project manager is Pasi Juvonen, Director of RDI in the Business Unit. During autumn 2025, several future workshops will be organized in cooperation with Sitra and companies from the Lahti region.
