Timeless Talent - Ensure your Work Ability for a better and longer career

To address the identified challenges, the project implements a structured Work Ability Training Programme (WATP) that focuses on key risk factors affecting work ability. The programme supports ageing workers in maintaining and improving their work ability, enhancing competitiveness, extending working careers, and promoting well-being also beyond retirement.

Each participant develops a personal work ability development plan that includes a minimum of 160 hours of activities. Upon successful completion of the WATP, participants receive a diploma. The programme combines face-to-face and online training with guided and independent exercises, peer learning sessions, and benchmarking visits.



The project targets employees aged 50 and above working in the industrial, logistics, and service sectors in Finland and Estonia. During the pilot phase, 15 participants from the target group from each country (30 in total) will complete the programme. Later during the project the programme will be further refined and implemented for a second group of 70 participants from the target group.



Another objective is to inform and engage relevant stakeholders and increase their awareness and understanding of the importance of work ability in enhancing employability and competitiveness in the labour market. The project aims to inform the target group about the training and exercise programme, and how it can supports the development of work ability. The objective is to motivate participants to actively engage in the program and to continue applying its principles independently over the long term.
