In Energy and circular economy operating environments project will establish an energy and circular economy operating environment for Lahti's NiemiCampus, which implements the region's circular economy strategy, to provide companies various energy and circular economy testing and expert services as well as opportunities for pilots and demonstrations. The project has invested in e.g. batch type for pyrolysis equipment, GCMS equipment, and equipment related to digestion and gas analysis. The built operating environment and NiemiCampus with its functions will be combined into one entity with the Green Campus concept. The project is implemented in cooperation with Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).
