Distance LAB – remote service hub for SME’s and public sector (vanha)

LAB University of Applied is involved in Distance LAB-project in collaboration with Centria University of Applied Sciences (coordinator), More and Romsdal County Council, University of Latvia, Kaunas Science and Technology Park, Rzeszow Regional Development Agency, Skellefteå Science City, Lithuanian Innovation Centre and Ventspils High Technology park. The project also has a wide group of public sector organizations, business support organizations, regional and local public authorities and NGOs and interest groups as associated partners who take part in the development process. The project is funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region -programme. The project budget is 2 817 691 € of which the programme finances 2 167,339 €. The budget of LAB is 370 332 €.

Objectives

Distance LAB co-develops tools for SMEs to improve their remote innovation capabilities, hybrid business strategies, and sustainability. Services and tools will be piloted in 2024. In 2025, a transnational hub will be launched. The hub provides knowledge, services, and co-creation opportunities.

Realisation of goals

Is your organization interested in piloting tools for developing remote innovation and communication skills, and assessing the sustainability of business models or remote business strategies?
