Objectives
Distance LAB co-developed tools for SMEs to improve their remote innovation capabilities, hybrid business strategies, and sustainability. Services and tools will be piloted in 2024. In 2025, a transnational hub will be launched. The hub provides knowledge, services, and co-creation opportunities.
Realisation of goals
The Distance LAB Hub is a remote service platform developed within the Interreg Baltic Sea Region project Distance LAB. The platform supports SMEs and public sector organizations in developing their ways of working in remote and hybrid business environments.

The project brings together practical tools, examples, and experiences from different countries around the Baltic Sea Region. Its focus is on everyday challenges such as remote communication, team coordination, leadership practices, and the use of digital and AI-based tools in work processes. Distance LAB helps organizations reflect on their current practices and identify concrete ways to improve them.

All tools developed in the project are tested in real workplace contexts and are freely available for use. The hub also serves as a space for sharing experiences and learning from others facing similar challenges in remote work.

Distance LAB invites organizations and professionals to explore the hub, try out the tools, and take part in building more effective and sustainable remote work practices.
