SADE, Sustainable and Digital Environments -Roadmap for digital strategy in fashion and textile sector
The textile and clothing sector is facing a rapidly changing future. According to the EU's forthcoming Textile Strategy, the production and consumption of textiles in EU has a significant impact on the environment and climate change. In addition, the sector is still recovering from the pandemic and the geopolitical tensions, which have created significant challenges for business. Companies need to look for new business opportunities and approaches to meet the challenges of a changing environment. This project will develop the industry's survival by strengthening its circular economy activities, with a focus on the use of digital solutions. This will be achieved by strengthening collaboration between different stakeholders across the industry.
This project will provide solutions for businesses to predict the implementation of the forthcoming EU Textile Strategy and the measures required, as well as their impact, and to adapt their operations through digitalisation. The project aims to strengthen sustainable business and competitiveness in the textiles and clothing sector, create new growth by co-creating a scalable approach to the digital strategy, and develop cross-sectoral operational environments.
