Instead of a traditional Christmas card, LUT University and the LAB University of Applied Sciences will donate a total of 10 000 euros to six charities. Four of the charities operate regionally, close to our campuses, and two operate nationally.
The recipients of the donation are the following:
- Hope ry, Lappeenranta, Lahti
- Association for Mental Health in Lappeenranta, Päijät-Hämeen mielenterveysseura ry
- Lahden ensi- ja turvakoti ry, Etelä-Karjalan perhetyön kehittämisyhdistys ry
- Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, climate work
- WWF, forest conservation
- Etelä-Karjalan Omaishoitajat ry, Päijät-Hämeen Omaishoitajat ry
