LAB University of Applied Sciences offers versatile opportunities to gain international experience and increase intercultural competence for students and staff. Our hundreds of foreign degree students and exchange students and international staff create a truly international study environment.

Students from our partner universities are welcome to do an exchange period in all our programmes.

Teacher and Staff Visits

We warmly welcome educators and professionals from both the educational and business sectors to visit LAB University of Applied Sciences. Our university is also open to hosting Erasmus+ staff and teaching visits. If you have specific interests or goals for your visit, please let us know in advance. We will strive to connect you with the appropriate contact person at LAB and assist you with any practical arrangements to ensure a productive and enjoyable visit.
For incoming staff, the LAB International Week provides an excellent opportunity to network with LAB and representatives from other universities. We welcome partners to the next LAB International Week, which will be held in February 2028.

Our agreements with 300 higher education institutions around the world secure mobility for both our students and staff.  Together with our international partners, we develop our education and offer variety of internationalization opportunities. LAB is open for new international cooperation activities in education and RDI. 

LAB International Affairs

Double Degree co-operation

LAB University of Applied Sciences has several double degree agreements which allows deeper educational cooperation with those partner universities. Double degree partners are usually long term partnerships which has started with regular student mobility, and then developed into double degree cooperation.

LAB encourage students to complete degree also in double degree partner university to further develop their professional and personal skills. LAB welcomes annually many double degree students from its double degree partners.

Currently LAB has double degree programmes with partner universities from Austria, France, Germany, Spain, Taiwan, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom and The United States of America.

All degree programmes which are taught in English in LAB are open for new double degree proposals.
