The nationwide career monitoring survey aims to find out how well the education meets the needs of working life and what the career paths of higher education graduates look like. The questions focus on the quality of education, the skills it provides, and how well it has met the needs of working life.
Help current and future students
With the survey results, we will be able to develop our activities, address working life competence needs, use the results in students' career guidance, and work towards our organisational strategic goals. Furthermore, the results of the survey are used by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the assessment of universities of applied sciences, and they have an impact on LAB's funding. Therefore, every response counts.
The survey is carried out annually
The online questionnaire is sent in October–November to those who graduated from a UAS five years ago with either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The survey is conducted by the career monitoring network of UASs and CSC – ICT Center for Science. The need of this information is based on the University of Applied Sciences Act (932/2014) and the related regulation (1129/2014).
