Human well-being
Kasvua työyhteisöstä
Changes in working life, skills shortages, internationalisation, and increasing diversity in workplaces are challenging companies to develop their ways of working. Successful organisations recognise that a thriving, inclusive, and psychologically safe work community is a significant competitive advantage. Workplace interaction, a sense of community, equality, and effective leadership practices directly influence employee engagement, wellbeing at work, and the organisation’s attractiveness as an employer.
The Growth Through the Work Community (ESR+) project supports SMEs in developing their work communities, managing diversity, and strengthening psychological safety. The project builds on the needs identified in the MORE – Developing Competence in Diverse Recruitment (ESR+) project and continues supporting companies in their development journey from recruitment practices to everyday workplace culture and leadership.
The primary target group of the project consists of SMEs located in the regions of South Karelia, Kymenlaakso, Päijät-Häme, and Pirkanmaa. In addition, the project engages labour market networks, educational institutions, employment areas, and other regional stakeholders. The lead partner of the project is the South-East Finland Vitality Centre, with Saimaan ammattiopisto Sampo and LAB University of Applied Sciences Ltd serving as co-implementers. The project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
