By enrolling in specialization modules, you can further develop your expertise in timber technology, timber hybrid construction management, and sustainability. You also have the opportunity to select modules from various European universities.

Students in the Sustainable Construction Technology programme study together with LUT University's bachelor's students throughout their first two years. This shared foundation provides a strong base in engineering, sustainability, and construction-related subjects while allowing students to benefit from a multidisciplinary learning environment. 

During the third and fourth years, studies at LAB University of Applied Sciences focus more strongly on practical applications, industry collaboration, and the skills needed in professional life. In the third year, students can choose a study path that best supports their interests and career goals. Options include industrial engineering and management studies at LUT University, timber technology studies at LAB University of Applied Sciences, or a study abroad period at one of our partner universities in Austria or Germany. The fourth year focuses on the bachelor's thesis and elective studies.
