Tech2Scale - Startup coaching programme for scalable technology businesses
The Tech2Scale project addresses this gap by designing a structured coaching model for technology startups. The model strengthens key drivers of valuation and investment potential and focuses on building technology credibility, market understanding, team competence, and investor networks.
Implementation is divided into three phases allowing for gradual development and adoption into the regular activities of LAB University of Applied Sciences and regional development organizations. The impact of the model will be monitored through both qualitative and quantitative measures throughout the project. Startups participating in the coaching program are offered a clear and systematic pathway to improve their investment readiness and growth prospects. At the same time, the project reinforces the university’s role in business collaboration and applied research environments.
It supports the South Karelia innovation strategy and the Lappeenranta–Imatra ecosystem agreement (2025–2027), particularly by enhancing startup growth conditions, increasing business impact, and strengthening collaboration networks. The project is coordinated by LAB University of Applied Sciences and runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2027.
