OmniTexLux - AI-enhanced identification of textiles
OmniTexLux project focuses on identifying challenging end-of-life textiles using modern technologies and artificial intelligence. The project is carried out by LAB University of Applied Sciences and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The funding authority of the project is the Häme Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment.
The project aims to support RDI activities in the circular economy by developing the identification of textiles. A more advanced identification of textile properties creates the conditions for finding more extensive utilization opportunities.
