Objectives
Project Objectives

1. To identify international customers and investors for the Biofine Pilot Plant Competence Center.

2. To establish an international RDI (Research, Development and Innovation) collaboration network for the LAB Biofine Pilot Plant.

3. To generate investment leads for the City of Lappeenranta.

The project will be carried out through four work packages. These will define potential customers and investors via market research and planning, and leverage existing RDI contacts to identify the most relevant collaboration partners. In practice, a significant portion of the work will be conducted through direct outreach and network engagement.
Outcomes
The project will result in the development of a significant international collaboration network and an EU-funded RDI project portfolio around the LAB Biofine operations. Additionally, it will attract international customers. Activities related to project funding and RDI networking will focus on the EU area, while customer acquisition and investor relations will be pursued globally. The project will significantly enhance the international attractiveness of Lappeenranta and the South Karelia region.
