Peer to peer digital support

The measures of the Digital Experience Expert project seek a solution to strengthen the inclusion of mental health recoverers outside work and studies for mental health reasons in the digital society and to increase digital competence by utilising experiental knowledge of the target group. The digital experience expert model developed in the project together with mental health recoverers and networks responds to the needs highlighted in the study and offers tailored learning, guidance and guidance models based on experiental knowledge to strengthen digital inclusion. The project trains mental health recoverers participating in the activities and receiving support to become digital experience experts who can utilise their own experiences of digital exclusion and support the digital inclusion of other mental health recoverers.

The digital experience expert model developed in the project will enable project participants to develop their digital competence skills in a goal-oriented, productive and individual manner. The model can be used in general to strengthen the digital inclusion of the target group. The experiences and results gained in the project will be utilised in degree programmes in the health and social services sector so that the training can meet the diverse needs of digital inclusion. The modelling of the project will be utilised when companies, educational organisations and other stakeholders promoting employment and inclusion aim to improve employment, strengthen social inclusion, increase the number of post-comprehensive school graduates and address social problems as part of the increase in employment and education levels.
