For new users of services
You can register as a LAMK Sports client in the LAMK Shop or by visiting a customer service point in FelmanniCampus. Client information is used only for LAMK Sports activities and will not be given to outside parties. By registering, the client agrees to the Terms of Service.
Who are entitled to membership
All full-time university of applied sciences and university students, personnel of university of applied sciences and universities. Master degree students and exchange students
Insurance
LAMK Sports services do not include insurance coverage. Clients must themselves see about acquiring any needed accident insurance.
LAMK Sport’s responsibilities
- LAMK Sports offers a diverse range of quality fitness services to promote well-being. LAMK Sports ensures that the facilities and equipment are in proper working order and safe for users.
- LAMK Sports is bound by all of the responsibilities mentioned in the Terms of Service.
- LAMK Sports reserves the right to limit the number of participants.
- LAMK Sports is not responsible for personal injuries or material damage occurring in its facilities to visitors or to their personal property unless the incident occurred as a result of negligence on the part of the service provider.
- LAMK Sports reserves the right to change the group exercise schedule or any other service at any time.
User’s responsibilities
- Using services of LAMK Sports the customer is committed to follow valid LAMK Sports terms of services. Terms of services are available in customer service points and LAMK Sports website. Changes of the terms of services will be announced at customer service points and website.
- LAMK Sports’ membership card and tag are personal and not to be given to third parties.
- Attending to guided class client must have a valid membership card.
- If client is not able to attend reserved class, reservation must be canceled in the reservation system. If client repetitively does not attend reserved classes restrictions to services may be applied
- One must respect others when using sport services and follow the rules made by LAMK Sports.
- If a client finds any of the material in the sports facilieties to be out of order, disturbing behaviour or something else exceptional LAMK Sports personnel is to be informed ASAP
- Customer must take into consideration about safety while working out.
- If the client brakes LAMK Sports´ sport equipment, client is responsible to compensate to LAMK Sports.
Cancellation of services by LAMK Sports
- LAMK Sports’ membership card is personal. The paid LAMK Sports’ fee is not refundable.
- Individual or group services that are cancelled by the instructor/trainer or due to some impediment will be announced on the reservation web page https://lamk.avoinna24.fi at least 3 hours before the start. In force majeure cases (such as sudden illness, injury or technical problems), the cancellation may occur later.
- On the classes that are organized by other party (Club Mueve, Rock the Pole) organizers terms of service are applied
- In exceptional cases, sports facilities may need to be shut down during the sports season (e.g. for repairs or maintenance work).
Terms of services are valid until further notice.
