LAB University of Applied Sciences is located in the Skinnarila district, seven kilometres from the city centre. The address is Yliopistonkatu 36, 53850 Lappeenranta.
By bus
Local buses 1, 3 and 5 run slightly different routes between the city centre and the university (depending on the bus and the starting point, the journey takes 20-30 minutes). By train
VR trains to and from Joensuu stop in Lappeenranta. The train journey from Helsinki takes about 2 h, from Lahti about 1 h 10 min, from Kouvola about 40 min and from Joensuu about 2 h 30 min.
Lappeenranta railway station is located in Travel Centre, about 8 km from the campus. The bus stop at the station is called Matkakeskus, and bus lines 3 and 5 run to the university from there. You can search for a suitable connection in the Lappeenranta local transport route guide.

By city bike
During the summer season, you can also get to the university by city bikes, which are available on a time-bill basis (e.g. 30 min, 4 h, 1 day) from a commercial service provider. One of the service's bike stations is located on campus.
Parking
Visitor parking and accessible parking are located in the front yard of the campus at designated spots near the main entrances. Visitors must register at the information desk.
Electric vehicle parking spots are located in areas P3, P4, and P6, and the eParking app is used to reserve parking rights for charging. There are also hourly parking spots (1€/h) in the front yard, which can be reserved through the eParking app. Other parking areas (P2-P7) can be reserved with a monthly subscription via the eParking app. The eParking app is available for download from the Play Store or App Store under the name eParking Suomi. There is a parking enforcement service on campus which will issue a parking violation ticket for incorrect parking. On entrance examination days, all parking spaces are free of charge without parking control.
