Arriving at Lahti campus

Campus area in Lahti consists of the campuses in Niemenkatu 73 and Mukkulankatu 19. You can get to Niemenkatu from Mukkulankatu through Vuoripojankatu.

Our campus in Lahti is located approximately 3 kilometers from the Lahti city centre and 4 kilometers from the Lahti Travel Center.

Arriving by bus

The campus is conveniently accessible by bus. Bus route 1 and 13 travels from the Matkakeskus (railway and bus station) to the campus.

During the summer season, you can move around in Lahti by city bikes.

Parking at Isku Center will be renewed as of 1 February 2026

  • The P1 area will be fully reserved for short-term visitor parking.
  • The heating posts in the P1 area may also be used for slow charging of electric vehicles if desired. Electricity is activated via the eParking application.
  • Visitor parking payment machines will be removed from use, and all visitors will use a parking application going forward (excluding GoGo’s own parking machine).
  • In the future, short-term parking in the P1 area can be paid not only via the eParking application but also via other parking applications such as EasyPark and Parkman.
  • The first hour will continue to be free of charge.

Guest parking

Isku Center P1 parking area in front of the campus building is reserved for short-term visitor parking. Parking spaces are with charge and all visitors will use a parking application.

Short-term visitor parking in the P1 area can be paid via the eParking application. From February payment also via parking applications EasyPark and Parkman. Parking should register in the app upon arrival. The first hour will be free of charge with all applications and then €1/hour. The area is subject to parking control.

Electric car charging

At M19 electric car charging stations are in public use. The charging points work through the eParking application. Charging electric cars costs €0.25/kWh, parking for first hour will be free of charge and then €1/hour.

The heating posts in the P1 area may also be used for slow charging of electric vehicles via the eParking application with cost €0.18/kWh. The first hour will be free of charge and then €1/hour.

Event parking

During larger events we have special parking arrangements. Read carefully instructions from event organizers. If more information needed, please contact the event organizer.

Parking for staff and students

Staff and students can make long-term parking permit. Long‑term area parking permits for staff and students are purchased through the eParking application with HAKA user.

By paying for a spot, you have the right to park in a specific area, not a specific designated spot. Parking permit is required on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. In the evenings and on weekends, the places are free for everyone to use. The area is subject to parking control.

Guest parking

Guest parking is meant for invited guests. There is a guest parking area at the main entrance of the property. Parking time with a parking disc is 30 minutes.

For longer stays, please insert the disc and enter your registration number in the ParkkiPate digital device in the main lobby info area for all-day parking. The area is subject to parking control.

Electric car charging

At N73 electric car charging stations are in public use. There are 10 electric car charging points in the courtyard of the property and charging points are connected to the PlugIt system.

During larger events we have special parking arrangements. Read carefully instructions from event organizers. If more information needed, please contact the event organizer.

Parking for staff and students

Niemenkatu building on the Lahti campus, LUT/LAB staff and students have parking available at Laatikkotehtaankatu 2. The closest entrance is door B2, there is a ParkkiPate device where you must enter your registration number.

You can park in the Laatikkotehtaankatu parking area on days when you are studying or teaching at Niemenkatu. The area is subject to parking control.
