Arriving at Lahti campus

Campus area in Lahti consists of the campuses in Niemenkatu 73 and Mukkulankatu 19. You can get to Niemenkatu from Mukkulankatu through Vuoripojankatu.

Our campus in Lahti is located approximately 3 kilometers from the Lahti city centre and 4 kilometers from the Lahti Travel Center.

Arriving by bus

The campus is conveniently accessible by bus. Bus route 1 and 13 travels from the Matkakeskus (railway and bus station) to the campus.

During the summer season, you can move around in Lahti by city bikes.

Parking

Parking is organized by owners of the premises (Isku Center and Lahden Tiedepuisto).

Guest parking

Guest parking is meant for invited guests. Guest parking is in areas P1 and P2. When using P1 or P2 area the registration number of the car must input by using the touch screen at the main lobby as soon possible. The parking right is checked based on the registration number and guest parking permit is required. In the evenings and weekends, the parking places are free to use, and the registration number does not need to be reported then.

Electric car charging

At M19 electric car charging stations are in public use. Charging electric cars costs €0.25/kWh, parking for first two hours is free of charge but after two hours its €0.50/h. The charging points work through the eParking.fi application (App Store, Google Play).

During larger events we have special parking arrangements. Read carefully instructions from event organizers. If more information needed, please contact the organizer.

Parking for staff and students

Staff and students can make parking permit contract with or without a heating pole at the campus area. A parking permit is required on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. In the evenings and on weekends, the places are free for everyone to use. Parking permit contract is done by HAKA login at eparking.fi

NOTE: By paying for a spot, you have the right to park in a specific area, not a specific designated spot. Places are also "slightly overbooked", i.e. a place cannot be guaranteed with 100% certainty. You can enter several registration numbers into eParking, but only one registration number is active at a time. If you come to work using different cars, remember to activate the correct registration number through the application.
