Human-Centered Change Communication in Uncertain Times
The project strengthens the change resilience of SMEs in the manufacturing and food sectors in the Päijät-Häme region by developing humane change communication practices. Organizational communication is examined holistically from both management and employee perspectives. The outcome includes a scalable roadmap, training model, and evaluation tools that support psychological safety and well-being during change. The training combines a MOOC-based online course, interactive lectures, and simulation workshops. In the XR Lab environment, digital communication methods are piloted and their emotional impact measured. The project’s learnings are embedded into participating companies and disseminated nationally through open-access materials and events. The project promotes social sustainability, improves work-life quality, and supports SME renewal in uncertain times.
