Instructions for Oral and Poster Presentations
Oral presentations
Each oral presentation is allocated a 20-minute slot. Presenters are asked to prepare a presentation of approximately 12 minutes to allow time for questions and discussion.
PowerPoint slides or similar presentation formats can be used.
Presentations should be sent in advance by September 20, 2026 to the conference email scsr2026
lab [dot] fi (scsr2026[at]lab[dot]fi) to support the technical setup and scheduling.
Poster presentations
Posters will be on display throughout the conference. A dedicated poster presentation session will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 on September 24, 2026. Presenters are asked to be available during this session for questions and discussion.
Delivery & Collection
You can bring your poster with you to the conference and give it to the staff at the registration desk upon arrival. They will place it on the display for you. If you prefer to send your poster in advance by post, please contact us by email at scsr2026
lab [dot] fi (scsr2026[at]lab[dot]fi).
Posters can be removed in the afternoon of September 24, 2026 and should be collected by 16:00. Please note that we are unable to return posters left behind.
Format & Content
The maximum size for posters is A0 in vertical orientation.
The poster should include the title of your study or case and 3–5 keywords. The objectives, activities, results, and main conclusions should be described clearly. Keep paragraphs concise to make the poster easy to read.
Visual elements such as figures, tables, and images can be used. Provide also contact details for the author(s), including at least name, organisation, and email address.
References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the poster. Please see the LAB Guide to Publishing for more detailed instructions and examples.
