Linnea Suutarinen (Visual Artist): Of Vessels and Watchers (2025)

  • Of Vessels and Watchers -installation explores the relationship between the human body, organic existence, scientific imaging devices, mechanical agency, and the world through photography and video imagery. The work considers how bodies are represented in both scientific and artistic contexts, and what possibilities arise when we take into account the alternative knowledge created through the collaboration between mechanical agents and bodies. This work was created as part of Suutarinen’s thesis at LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts.
