Structure of the full paper

Use the provided full paper template and follow its instructions for writing the full paper.

Make sure your paper is understandable also for people who do/did not attend the conference. The way you present your empirical findings will depend on your work's subject and discussion style. The length of the paper is limited to 2500 words not counting abstract and the list of references.

Proofreading of the article is on the author’s responsibility. Language check and proofreading by a native speaker is undertaken before submitting the article in order to ensure readability and eliminate any errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.

References

References should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the article using the Harvard style; see LAB Guide to Publishing for detailed instructions and examples.

Formatting

Please use the provided full paper template for submission.

Ensure that the full paper is submitted in MS Word format (.docx); do not submit it in PDF format.

Please use the following formatting:

  • Length: maximum 2500 words (not including references)
  • Abstract: maximum 250 words
  • In-text citation: Harvard style (see LAB Guide to Publishing for guidelines)
  • References: Harvard style (see LAB Guide to Publishing for guidelines)
  • Notes: To be avoided but if used, please place them as endnotes before the references.
  • Acknowledgements (people, grants, funds, etc.): Please place them in a separate section before the references.

Formatting of figures, tables and images

The full paper may include a maximum of four (4) figures, tables, or images. These are inserted into the docx file for the review process.

In addition, figures, tables and images need to be submitted as separate files in jpg, png, pdf, or xls format. Place your files into one zip folder before submitting them via ConfTool. Please ensure they are numbered consistently, and their placement in the article text is promptly indicated (e.g., Table 1).

Each item is referred to in the text and accompanied by a caption: figures/images below and tables above. Check that figures, tables, and images are of adequate quality for publishing.

Treat images as any other resources and ensure accurate referencing. Obtain proper permission for using images not originating from your own work. Additionally, provide text alternatives for images and figures to make their content accessible to readers who may not be able to see them.
