Review Criteria - Academic

The academic abstracts are reviewed on the following criteria:

  • Does the submission contribute to innovation or development activities and/or produce new knowledge in the thematic area?
  • Are the research objectives clear?   
  • Is the methodology transparent, reliable and explicit?
  • Are the results comprehensible and accessible?
  • Are the eventual results relevant and useful to the wider population/companies/organizations/ cities?
  • Does the submission propose creative and effective ideas that will help the presentation succeed in being interactive?

 

Review Criteria - Practical

The practical case study abstracts are reviewed on the following criteria:

  • Are the objectives and relevance of the case study clear? 
  • Is the implementation approach of the case study clear?
  • Are the results comprehensible and accessible?
  • Does the case study demonstrate potential for expansion or scalability?
  • Are there potential economic, social and/or environmental impacts?
  • Does the submission propose creative and effective ideas that will help the presentation succeed in being interactive?
