Lahti Science Day 2026

Lahti Science Day is an open and free science event for everyone. The event is aimed at the general public, stakeholders of higher education institutions, and the scientific community of Päijät-Häme. Its purpose is to highlight the results and significance of research and development work carried out in or focused on the Päijät-Häme region.

Lahti Science Day will take place on 17 November 2026 from 9:00 to 16:00 at Mukkulankatu 19, Lahti.

The event is organized by LUT University, LAB University of Applied Sciences, the University of Helsinki, and the Päijät-Häme Wellbeing Services County. It is coordinated by the Lahti University Campus.
 

Call for Abstracts

Lahti Science Day welcomes proposals for presentations, sessions, and posters. Programme

The morning begins at 9:00 with a keynote speaker, Hanna Haveri, a doctor specialized in planetary health.

From 10:30 to 16:00, research results and practical solutions will be presented in approximately 50 talks across several parallel sessions.

The detailed programme will be published in early October.
