Future Business Intelligence to Speed Up SMEs’ Business Development

SMEs have to prepare themselves to meet the challenges and changes in the business environment. Carrying out foresight activities and renewing business processes is the key to success. In the SMEs more know-how is needed in order to fully exploit future insight and knowledge.



The aim of the project is to enhance SMEs’ prerequisites to bring into play and utilize Business Intelligence (BI) practices in business development. The SMEs involved in the project utilize BI-knowledge by applying communal, innovative and agile practices and methods in developing digital and circular economy-based products, services, processes or practices. In developing commercialization activities, the SMEs are focused on exploiting digital-based opportunities and marketing automation.



Project aims to increase the collaboration between SMEs as well as collaboration between SMEs and higher education institutions. Benchmarking workshops and meetings will be organised and utilized in sharing and enriching SMEs’ business knowledge-based solutions. University and college students are actively involved in SMEs’ business development.
